Spotlight: THE NEXT FOREVER by Lisa Burstein

One night in college can change everything…

Away at college, Amy just wants one night alone without her high school sweetheart, Joe. So when he invites her to go to the library, she heads off on her own instead. How she ended up at a house party with the mysterious bad-boy Trevor is another story…

Joe so isn’t going to the library. He needs space from Amy, too, so he’s decided to rush a fraternity, to get back the swagger he had in high school. But it doesn’t take long for the brothers to invite him to the real rush here the beer is flowing and one particular girl has set her eyes on Joe.

Over the course of one wild night, both Amy and Joe will have to decide if their futures belong with two new people, or whether the next forever will have their first loves in it.

THE NEXT FOREVER

Review
THE NEXT FOREVER, a follow up story to the amazing YA novel PRETTY AMY, steps out of the young adult world and into the New Adult genre. And let me just say that Lisa Burstein did it perfectly! I loved PRETTY AMY, so I was very happy to get to see more of Amy and Joe. In THE NEXT FOREVER, Amy and Joe are away at college, and like many young adults who are in a new place away from the familiarities of home, they find themselves questioning a lot of things. Including their relationship. It is this doubt that sends them both on separate journeys that test their love and commitment for each other with a steamy cast of new characters.  I loved that this was a dual POV and that we got to see both Amy and Joe’s side of the story. I fell in love with these characters all over again in this brilliant novella.  If you are a fan of the New Adult genre this book is a must read! Sexy, heartfelt, and beautifully written, Lisa Burstein has done it again!
